Paint It with Stars and Stripes

What's up with the title? Well, if you're a Facebook friend, you'd know that I just DIYed these plain shorts and turned it into something more pleasing to the eye (or my eyes at least). Get yourself some fabric paint, a paint brush, old shorts (not necessarily old though) and a little imagination and you're good to go and start DIYing.

I chose to paint the American flag on these shorts because this design is one of the 'It' items in the market/ fashion scene today and sometimes, there are trends that I wouldn't really want to miss out on. I also made an Aztec print designed pair of shorts that I'll show you on my next post so watch out ;)

Up close, all of us could see the imperfections of my DIY. It's my first anyway :) I'll do better next time :D

Obviously, I'm in love with making DIYs and this 'love' pendant is another one. it's still not finished though. It's still not officially a pendant yet because I still haven't put a ring that'll make it hang on a necklace. That'll be my next task.
