The Chinese New Year vibes aren't getting any weaker in my system. I almost went out on the colour red, which was believed to be a lucky colour, today. I'm lucky I caught myself right on time.
I've stopped believing in luck recently, since I've been holding on to the belief that everything happens for a reason. I'm not asking you to stop believing in luck like I did. This is just my opinion and I'm not going to tamper on yours.
So why wear a lot of red during the Chinese New Year festivities when I don't believe in luck?
To help out those people in their 'how to wear a lot of red and other colours close to it' dilemmas.
For once, I picked out my bottoms first just because I feel like wearing this pair. Then I took out a pinkish orange top with navy blue details to pair the bottoms with so I wouldn't be too red. I chose to compliment the outfit with colours that matched my blouse's accent.
These are actually basic, playing safe and even 'plain common sense' tips to others but a lot of people have made the common mistake.
Top from a Korean shop, BNY pants, Keds shoes, Spiked bracelets from a local boutique
Hope you liked it! :)
